Does anyone know who Martina McBride is? I hadn't listened to country music in years and yet here I was going to a concert with Roberta to see someone I really had no interest in seeing. Roberta had reconnected with a friend from her past, Jeremy and he had extra tickets so what the heck right? We met up with him there and he introduced us to some of his friends... Jon and Toby... I was sitting next to Toby and only a few short minutes into the concert I leaned over and whispered "before the nights over I'm gonna be rubbing that guys head". Speaking of course about this Jon guy sitting in front of us and not saying a word. As the night went on people came and went and without realizing I was left alone with the guy in front of me. Can't stand not talking! So, I went down and sat by him and started a conversation... to be honest I couldn't tell you anything that was said and I'm pretty sure he noticed me staring at his head! Oh how I had to keep my hands to myself! After the concert Jon and his friends went to a club and me and Roberta went for food. Should we meet up with them at the club? Not really our thing, never been to this club before, not really interested in going but for some reason there we were walking in looking for Jeremy and friends. The night went on with us all yelling back and forth as the music was blarring! And finally it was time to go... Once we got to the parking lot about to part ways I remember thinking that wasn't such a bad night. We met some new people. As we were all saying goodbye I started to chat once again with this guy named Jon. Somehow we even exchanged numbers. Although I really didn't think he'd ever use mine. I texted him later and said I'd had fun with my new friends and to be safe getting home. So that's it... the way we met. Roberta hasn't seen Jeremy since and neither have I or Jon. Maybe it's true what they say... sometimes people are put in your life for a reason and once that reason has been filled they go away. Anyway, as far as my story goes I met the man of my dreams that night and I've been rubbing his head ever since!

Huge thanks to Roberta and Jeremy! And thanks Martina for creating some magic...
